You will be transferred to Colombo in order to do a city tour. We will visit Colombo Lighthouse, The Prison Cell of the last Sri Lankan King, Lighthouse with Clock Tower designed by Lady Ward (built before Big Ben in London), Galle Face Promenade with cannons of World War II, President’s House, York Street with remnants of British Colonial Architecture, Fort Railway Station, central bus terminal, Floating Market, Beira Lake, Independence Square and Arcade Independence Square, Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall, Gangarama temple. Then will stay in Colombo in a star-class hotel.

After breakfast, will go to Anuradhapura, and on the way, we will stop at Munneswaram kovil, Chilaw. After the authentic Sri Lankan lunch provided by the villagers of Anuradhapura, we will start our city tour. The ancient city of Anuradhapura is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its well-preserved historical ruins dating back to the CENTURIES (4th century BC – 11th century AD) during which it remained the capital of Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura was also the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries and is known today as one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world.This tour will include visiting Jaya Sri maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya,Jhethawanaramaya, Mirisavatiya, Isurumuniya, Kuttam Pokuna, Samadhi Buddha Statue, Abayagiriya and many more.In the evening we will go to Tisa lake to bathe and enjoy the view. We will stay in Anuradhapura as per your request.

After breakfast, set off to Polonnaruwa and we will be visiting Gal viharaya, Moonstones, The Quadrangle, Lankathilaka, Rankot vihara, and Shiva devale.UNESCO has declared Polonnaruwa a World Heritage site, thereby making it a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. Today, the city is one of the best planned archaeological relic sites across the country, standing as evidence of the greatness and discipline of the first rulers of Polonnaruwa. Then we will go to Kaudulla Or Minneriya national park to see wild elephants. Apart from the elephants, Kaudulla National Park is home to 23 species of mammals including Sambar Deer, Sri Lankan Axis Deer, Chevrotain, Wild boar, Leopard, and Sloth Bear are other mammals. Very rarely one could spot leopard and sloth bears in their natural habitats, and also 160+ species of birds. After the safari, we will go to Sigiriya for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, climb the Sigiriya rock and if possible the pidurangala rock as well. Sigiriya descents from the 5th century B.C carved out of granite rock and considered an ancient fortress. This is a UNESCO world heritage site, and also this rock gives a marvelous view of the cultural triangle. Sigiriya is a must-visit tourist place in Sri Lanka. This was the domain of King Kashyapa whose aim was to build a formidable fortress with a lot of technology. At the end of the day, we will do a village safari in Sigiriya which includes a bullock cart ride, boat safari, and Sri Lankan cooking and cropping demonstration. Thereafter, we will set off to Dambulla Rock Cave temple and Golden temple. The rock cave temple is built in natural four rock caves and consists of 150+ buddha statues. Then, will head to Kandy to see the cultural dancing at the temple of tooth premises and head to Kandy view point where you will get a chance to see a panoramic view of the sacred Kandy city.

After a scrumptious breakfast, we will head to the temple of the tooth. Since ancient times, the relic has played a vital role in Sri Lankan social system. The relic was historically held by Sinhalese kings. Kandy is one of the major cities in Sri Lanka and was the last capital of the ancient kings' era. Then we will go to Kandy Royal Botanical Garden. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees. Soon after we will set off to Ambuluwawa biodiversity complex. Then we will head to Nuwara Eliya. En route to Nuwara Eliya, we will stop by a tea factory to learn about the tea industry of Sri Lanka. Then you will also have chances to walk down along a tea estate and enjoy a bath at Ramboda falls. We will provide a guided stroll of Nuwara Eliya town, pass the 18-hole golf course, the colonial member’s only Hill Club, and English-styled country homes, Victoria Park. Dinner and overnight in Nuwara Eliya at your choice.

Even before the sun, we will set off to Horton plains to see the world's end. And will have your breakfast there enjoying the freezing weather. Horton plains are rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region and are the headwaters of three major Sri Lankan rivers, the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe. Then Our representative will drop you at the Ambewela railway station. By train, You will head to Ella on your own while enjoying the breathtaking mountain views along the trip. This journey is deemed as the world's one of the most beautiful train journeys. We will be picking you up from Ella. Thereafter, the task will be to do a rail hike to see the nine arches bridge. Then we will head to Tissamaharama and stay in Tissa close to Yala national park or, can put a campfire and camp near the jungle.

Early in the morning, our representative from Yala jeep safari will come to pick us up from the hotel and will stay inside the park until 12.00 pm. Yala harbors 215 bird species including six endemic species of Sri Lanka. The number of mammals that have been recorded from the park is 44, and it has one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Thereafter, will go to the coastline to enjoy the scenic beaches. First, we will do stilt fishing at Mirissa. If having enough time, we could also visit places such as the blow hole in Dickwella, Dondra lighthouse, and turtle breeding farm where you can release baby turtles to the sea. Overnight in Mirissa.

Head to Mirissa coconut tree hill and then, whale watching. After that, head to Galle fort which was made by the dutch, a 17th-century Dutch fort and a cosmopolitan vibe, was first built in 1588 by the Portuguese. It is a historical, archaeological, and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 432 years of maintenance, has a polished appearance. This is also deemed a UNESCO world heritage site. In the evening head to Unawatuna, Dalawella, Hikkaduwa, ambalangoda, or kosgoda beach and stay in a luxury hotel.

we will do a boat safari at Hikkaduwa to see the coral reefs and giant turtles. You can also volunteer to work in a turtle hatchery at Hikkaduwa. Then we will set off to the madu river, where you will see multiple islets along with cinnamon production, several bird species, crocodiles, village life, and experience fish therapy. Head to Negombo and overnight stay there.

Starting from doing a Negombo city tour. Negombo is Known for its fishing industry, this coastal city is best visited early in the morning when the local fisherfolk bring in the day’s catch on the iconic catamarans of Negombo. Its history also lends the city its fond nickname of ‘Little Rome’, where several catholic churches and cathedrals were established by the Portuguese, while the Dutch have also left behind their legacy of a 17th-century fort that now serves as the city prison. This tour will include visiting Negombo Lake, Beach park, Several cathedrals, and agurukaramulla temple. At the end of the day, you will be directed to the airport with a surprise gift from Travel Guide Lanka.
